The invention discloses a forest fire monitoring method and system based on remote sensing big data, and the method comprises the following steps: A, collecting remote sensing big data which comprises topographic data, natural condition data and satellite data; B, utilizing an ArcGIS system to calculate the altitude, the gradient data and the slope direction data according to the DEM data; calculating NDWI data by utilizing ENVI software in combination with natural condition data and satellite data; c, constructing a forest fire prediction model, and performing Pearson's correlation coefficient of each influence factor on the remote sensing big data by using an SPSS software system; and D, performing multi-feature training and precision verification on the forest fire prediction model by adopting a random forest algorithm and combining a plurality of weak learners. According to the invention, satellite data, meteorological data, topographic data and natural condition data are combined, early warning is carried out for a forest flammable area, more effective forest fire early warning data are provided for a forest fire emergency management department, forest fire can be prevented in advance, and more reasonable arrangement is carried out for fire prevention.
