The invention is applied to a data ownership certificate management platform. Themethod comprises the following steps: receiving a data ownership authentication application initiated by a user, wherein the data ownership authentication application comprises user basic information, and then issuing a digital certificate according to the data ownership authentication application, wherein the digital certificate comprises data access rights, and the data certificate is stored ina block chain. Further, if a user needs to access data, a data access request is initiated, wherein the data access request includes user basic information, further searches for a corresponding digital certificate according to the user basic information, and assigns a data access right to the user so as to facilitate the user to access the data. Therefore, on the one hand, this scheme manages users' access rights to data through digital certificates, on the other hand, it improves the security of data storage by storing digital certificates and data in block chains.
