The invention relates to the field of the Internet, in particular to a big data positioning verification system based on peripheral information. Useful text information and azimuth information are automatically extracted and recognized by collecting image information around a mobile terminal user and input into a cloud server, and corresponding position range information is matched in map data through the cloud server to assist in correcting positioning deviation. The super-large storage capacity and the super-large computing capacity of the existing camera device and the positioning module ofthe mobile terminal and the cloud service terminal are fully utilized; the accuracy of user positioning is greatly improved, and the navigation efficiency is guaranteed. The invention further provides an online car-hailing big data positioning and checking system based on the user peripheral information. The system comprises a vehicle-mounted terminal, a mobile terminal and a cloud server. User peripheral information is automatically verified through the cloud server, and verification results are sent to navigation positioning modules of the vehicle-mounted terminal and the mobile terminal atthe same time; the positioning deviation is corrected; and the travel and online car-hailing service efficiency is ensured.
