A method in a wireless device comprises: receiving the broadcasted configuration information; determining the frequency position of the second carrier using the frequency position of the first carrier and the index of the second carrier; and monitoring the second carrier for paging information. The wireless device may comprise a narrowband Internet-of-Things (NB-IoT) device, the first carrier may comprise a NB-IoT anchor carrier, and the second carrier may comprise a NB-IoT non-anchor carrier.
