A NB-IoT-based low-power padlock comprises a shackle (2) and a lock body (1). The shackle (2) has one or two plugs (21) that can be completely separated from the lock body. The lock body (1) has a jack (11) for accommodating the plug (21). The lock body (1) is internally provided with: a NB-IoT module (5) for sending alert information to a reception device (100) in the event of abnormal unlocking; an unlocking detection switch (4) for detecting whether or not the shackle (2) has been abnormally unlocked; and a battery (6). Both of the unlocking detection switch (4) and the battery (6) are electrically connected to the NB-IoT module (5). The unlocking detection switch (4) of the low-power padlock is provided with a movement execution portion (41) having an automatic reset function. When the shackle (2) is in a locked state, the plug (21) presses the movement execution portion (41), so as to open the unlocking detection switch (4) and turn off the NB-IoT module (5). When the plug (21) is separated from the jack (11), the unlocking detection switch (4) is closed, and the battery (6) supplies power to the NB-IoT module (5).
