The system comprises an NB-IOT street lamp terminal, an NB-IOT base station and an IOTstreet lamp platform; an NB-IOT terminal comprises a commercial power supply unit, an on-off control unit, an AC-to-DC circuit, a filter circuit, a constant voltage circuit, a constant current circuitand a communication unit. The on-off control unit is in communication connection with the NB-IOT base station through the communication unit. The input end of the on-off control unit is connected with the commercial power supply unit, the output end of the on-off control unit is connected with the input end of the alternating current to direct current, the output end of the constant voltage circuit is connected with the input end of the constant current circuit, and the output end of the constant current circuit is connected with an LED street lamp. According to the invention, the NB-IOT terminal, the NB-IOT base station and a large number of lighting street lamps are centralized to the IOT street lamp platform, so the accurate control over a single street lamp is achieved; meanwhile, constant-current driving is adopted, and the actual service life of the LED street lamp is prolonged.
