The method of an IoT device management server managing an IoT device according to the embodiments of the present invention comprises the following steps: registering the IoT device in response to an IoT device registration request received from a user device and including a unique user identifier of the IoT device, wherein the unique user identifier of the IoT device is obtained when the user device photographs a QR code attached to the IoT device; receiving metadata and sensor data of the IoT device from the IoT device and managing the data; providing the metadata and sensor data of the IoT device to the user device in response to the request of the user device; and modifying the metadata of the IoT device at the request of the user device, or controlling the IoT device.
