The invention provides a method for improving the communication success rate of a NB-IOT single lamp controller and relates to the technical field of a single lamp control system with NB-IOT (narrowband IOT) communication. Due to the narrowband nature of the NB-IOT communication, the requirements of grid connection and line access at the same time when a streetlight is turned on are not satisfied.According to the invention, in the process of the mass sending of communication commands by monitoring platform software, the peak shifting processing such as different batches, different times and hopping is used, and the communication success rate is improved with the combination of a heartbeat response mechanism. When the monitoring platform software performs the mass sending of the communication commands to a single lamp controller of a same road segment, at the same time, a command sequence to be subjected to mass sending is broken into a plurality of sub-sequences of a small number of sizes, the sub-sequences are transmitted in batches, and the limitation of the processing ability of a NB base station is avoided. When the monitoring platform software receives a heartbeat packet of aNB-IOT single-lamp controller, the monitoring platform software actively performs the command issuing operations including condition query, parameter query, parameter modification and lamp switchingcontrol. According to the invention, the communication success rate of the NB-IOT single-lamp controller is greatly improved without increasing the deployment number of NB base stations.
