The present invention relates to a method for extracting and transmitting data of an IoT-based sensor. The method comprises: an arranging step (S10) of collecting information data measured by an IoT-based sensor to arrange the information data in accordance with a time flow; a dividing step (S20) of dividing the information data arranged in accordance with a time flow in the arranging step (S10) into repetitive setting sections; an extraction step (S30) of extracting one or more target data among the information data of the setting sections; and a transmission step (S40) of transmitting the target data extracted from the repetitive setting sections via wired/wireless communication. The method divides information data measured and collected by an IoT-based sensor into a plurality of setting sections, extracts only meaningful target data among the information data of the set setting sections, and then restricts the plurality of setting sections as a set section to transmit the target data of the setting sections included in the set section in a single transmission process to greatly reduce power required to transmit measurement information by the IoT-based sensor in comparison to a conventional method by which an IoT-based sensor transmits information to easily apply and use an IoT-based sensor in an extremely harsh environment where limited power has to be used. Also, in comparison to a conventional method by which an IoT-based sensor transmits information, transmitted data amounts are greatly reduced. Therefore, functions of an IoT-based sensor can be strengthened by greatly increasing the transmission rate of data via the IoT-based sensor. COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
