According to the present invention, the method to provide a service comprises: a step of generating an internet of things (IoT) profile using the information of an IoT node, wherein the information is provided by the developer of the IoT node; and a step of storing and managing the IoT profile in an IoT profile database, or providing the IoT profile to the developer. In addition, the method registers the IoT node in an instance-hosting gateway to which the IoT node is connected using the IoT profile stored in the IoT profile database; using the IoT profile provided to the developer and then provided through a URL related to the developer; or using the IoT profile provided to the developer and then included in the IoT node.
