LOW POWER IoT SENSOR MODULE THROUGH OPERATION DETECTION OF MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT

Fuente: Wipo "IOT"
A low-power IoT sensor module for detecting the operation of mechanical equipment according to the present invention comprises: an IoT sensor attached to the mechanical equipment to sense a state; and a piezoelectric element provided between the mechanical equipment and the IoT sensor and using vibration generated when the mechanical equipment operates. The IoT sensor further includes a capacitor for charging power generated from the piezoelectric element and a control unit for controlling whether to operate the IoT sensor. When power equal to or greater than a preset value is charged in the capacitor, the IoT sensor operates according to a signal from the control unit, and state data of the mechanical equipment is collected. State data is collected only when the mechanical equipment is in operation, thereby reducing battery consumption used for operating the IoT sensor and improving the reliability of the data.
