The present invention relates to an Internet-of-Things (IoT)-based remote automatic control system using data conversion capable of collecting environment data, status data and etc. and remotely controlling IoT devices by comprising a controller to connect environmental elements such as temperature, humidity, electric power, carbon dioxide (CO2), etc. and security and disaster prevention elements to the IoT devices and a management server to efficiently monitor, diagnose and control elements such as energy, security, disaster prevention, etc. of a building, a factory, a power plant, a water treatment plant, etc. To solve the problems, the IoT-based remote automatic control system using data conversion according to the present invention comprises: the IoT devices to transmit detected data; a controller to collect the data transmitted from the IoT devices and transmit over a communication network; the management server connected to the communication network and having an IoT application to store and manage the data transmitted from the controller; and a terminal connected to the management server to check the stored data in accordance with a request or control the IoT devices through the controller, wherein the controller converts the data received from the IoT devices into unified universal data which is readable in the IoT application, provides the converted universal data to the management server, processes a control message received from the management server and manages the IoT devices.
