The present invention relates to an IoT-based drinking water storage tank management platform service system and a method thereof. The IoT-based drinking water storage tank management platform service system includes: a water storage tank which is installed in various types of buildings for each region and stores drinking water; a pH sensor for measuring hydrogen ion concentration (pH); a TDS sensor for measuring total dissolved solids (TDS) in water; a turbidity sensor for measuring the turbidity of a liquid medium; a temperature sensor for measuring the temperature of the liquid medium; and a residual chlorine sensor for measuring residual chlorine in the liquid medium. Therefore, it is possible to safely drink tap water by monitoring and managing the water quality of the water storage tank installed in various places in real time through the water storage tank management platform.
