The IoT-based coding education device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: an IoT kit configured to generate a code for controlling one or more IoT devices and transmit the code to the IoT device; and an IoT device control unit configured to control the one or more IoT devices according to the code transmitted from the IoT kit. The IoT kit comprises: an input unit configured to provide an input interface for a user to input at least one of a code block and a code variable related to a code for controlling the IoT device; a code generation unit configured to generate a code for controlling the IoT device according to the user's input to the input interface; and a code transmission unit configured to transmit the IoT device to the IoT device control unit.
