The IoT smart home apparatus comprises: an IoT communications module provided to communicate with an IoT device providing information or controlled by IoT communications in a wired or a wireless manner; a communications unit provided to communicate with an external device through a wired or a wireless communications network; a registration unit for providing information required for registration of an IoT device connected by the IoT communications module to an IoT service providing server connected by the communications unit; a control unit for controlling a terminal registered in the IoT service providing server and connected by the communications unit to receive the information from the IoT device connected by the IoT communications module and controlling the terminal to perform control for the IoT device; and a memory unit for storing the information required for the control of the control unit and the registration of the registration unit. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide convenience for use of an IoT device at a remote location by using a terminal such as a smartphone or the like, to improve convenience of registration, connection, control and the like of various IoT devices desired to be used, and to contribute to multi-functionalization, popularization and expansion of IoT.
