According to the present invention, an IoT protocol builder provides a protocol UI that shows status fields for all functions available for each IoT home appliance group. An IoT home appliance developer terminal displays the protocol UI provided by the IoT protocol builder, receives a selection of status fields corresponding to functions supported by an IoT home appliance to be manufactured from an IoT home appliance developer through the protocol UI. An IoT home appliance server automatically creates and registers a protocol for a new IoT home appliance based on the status fields selected in the IoT home appliance developer terminal.
