Disclosed are an IoT device interconnection method and apparatus, which are used for reducing the connection complexity of IoT devices and reducing the burden of user operations. The method comprises: a first IoT device broadcasting description information of the first IoT device, wherein the description information of the first IoT device comprises a first application scenario identifier and performance information of the first IoT device, and the first application scenario identifier is used by an IoT device, which receives the description information of the first IoT device, to determine whether to establish a connection with the first IoT device, the performance information of the first IoT device is used by an IoT device, which receives the description information, to determine a central device in a device combination, and the device combination comprises the first IoT device and an IoT device which is connected to the first IoT device; and the first IoT device receiving a first connection result which is sent by a second IoT device, wherein the first connection result comprises first information, the first information is used for indicating that the second IoT device establishes a connection with the first IoT device, and the first connection result further comprises an identifier of the central device of the first device combination.
