The invention relates to the technical fields of NB-IoT, unmanned aerial vehicles and Internet of Things, in particular to a forest fire detection system and method based on the NB-IoT and unmanned aerial vehicle. Compared with the prior art, the system is composed of an NB-IoT base station, a fire detection terminal, the unmanned aerial vehicle and a cloud center, wherein the NB-IoT base stationis used for receiving data and storing the data locally, giving a fire alarm and conducting temporary storage, reporting, display and exception analysis on the data; the fire detection terminal is used for setting different reporting frequencies, selecting different pieces of time, regularly awakening internal NB-IoT communication module and positioning module and reporting the different reportingfrequencies and the different pieces of time to the NB-IoT base station; the unmanned aerial vehicle is used for conducting targeted equipment exception inspection or novel equipment release on the fire detection terminal not reporting the data; the cloud center is used for collecting data from a forest base station and providing fire warning, map display, status monitoring, base station operation management, data analysis and data insight for forest management personnel. The forest fire detection system and method based on the NB-IoT and unmanned aerial vehicle have good promotion value forforest fire prevention and prediction by utilizing the combination of the NB-IoT, the unmanned aerial vehicle and the cloud center.
