The IoT apparatus has a storage unit that stores apparatus authentication information for establishing connection between the IoT apparatus and the external server, including an apparatus ID, which is information that identifies the IoT apparatus. When the IoT apparatus is requested for the apparatus ID by the information terminal and the apparatus ID is not stored in the storage unit, the IoT apparatus transmits a message indicating that there is no apparatus ID.
