The invention relates to the technical field of campus information. The objective of the invention is to provide an automatic Internet of Things system for campus buildings. A four-layer architecture including a top SaaS application layer, a middle IoT general PaaS layer, a middle network layer and a bottom IoT edge intelligent layer is adopted. The bottom-layer IoT edge intelligent layer is accessed to bottom-layer IoT equipment and is used for acquiring data information fed back by the bottom-layer IoT equipment and realizing terminal control on the bottom-layer IoT equipment; the intermediate IoT universal PaaS layer is used for collecting data information acquired by the bottom IoT edge intelligent layer and carrying out classification processing on the data information; and the top SaaS application layer can call the data information of the intermediate IoT universal PaaS layer, and realizes application management on the whole system according to the called data information. Through the effective intelligent Internet of Things, an efficient operation and maintenance management network is constructed, and the system has wide, profound and positive influences on the aspects of energy consumption cost control, equipment maintenance management and control, remote practical training operation and the like.
