The invention discloses a building temperature-humidity monitoring system based on NB-IoT, and a monitoring method applying the system. The system mainly comprises a NB-IoT terminal, an information post office and a human-machine interaction platform; the NB-IoT terminal and the human-machine interaction platform realize the communication connection by means of the information post office; the information post office comprises a NB-IoT core network and an internet of things opening platform; the NB-IoT terminal sends the collected temperature-humidity data to the internet of things opening platform through the NB-IoT core network by using a communication protocol; and the internet of things opening platform sends the data to the human-machine interaction platform through encoding-decoding.Multiple technologies are integrated to apply to the measurement transmission of the building temperature-humidity, the measurement measure under the intelligent building background is enriched fromthe technology level, the coverage range of the temperature measurement in the intelligent building is effectively improved, and the accuracy and the instantaneity of the measurement are improved.
