To this end, the IoT system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a plurality of IoT devices corresponding to each of a plurality of nodes constituting a blockchain; a plurality of blocks corresponding to each of the plurality of IoT devices to store authentication information of the plurality of IoT devices constituting the blockchain; and an IoT control device which is one device among the plurality of IoT devices, and controls the operation of the plurality of IoT devices constituting the blockchain. Here, the IoT control device: generates a smart contract among the plurality of IoT devices; registers the added authentication information of the IoT devices to the blockchain based on a password key provided by the IoT devices added to the nodes; and renews the generated smart contract based on the added authentication information of the IoT devices.
