Provided are an artificial intelligence IoT edge computing device for efficient management of IoT public lighting, which is a solar street light, and a big data service platform system using the same. The artificial intelligence IoT edge computing device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an image collection unit for collecting image information of an area where an IoT lighting device is installed; a communication unit that collects information on a presence of a failure, a presence of being turned-on, and the brightness upon being turned-on from the IoT lighting device; and a processor that detects an object in the area where the IoT lighting device is installed, by entering the collected image information into the deep learning model where the object detection function in the image has been learned, and controls whether the IoT lighting device is turned on and the degree of brightness according to whether the object is detected. Accordingly, the lighting and brightness of the IoT lighting device are controlled depending on whether the object is detected within the area where the IoT lighting device as a solar street light is installed, so that the IoT lighting device is efficiently managed and the number of relief days are treated smoothly.
