The apparatus for IoT-BIM connection for IoT-based facility management comprises: a BIM database to store BIM data for a target building; a field database to store data (hereafter, referred to as IoT sensing data) sensed by an IoT sensing device installed on the target building; a device defining unit to define identification information and performance information of an IoT sensing device installed on the target building; a device data acquisition unit to define a method to acquire the IoT sensing data and a method to store the IoT sensing data in the field database, and acquire the IoT sensing data based on the defined method to store the IoT sensing data in the field database; and a BIM connection unit to define a connection method to connect BIM data stored in the BIM database and the IoT sensing data stored in the field database, and connect the IoT sensing data and the BIM data based on the defined connection method.
