QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS AND EXTRACTION METHOD FOR INDEX COMPONENT OF HERICIUM ERINACEUM

The present invention provides an analysis method for analyzing an index component, which is included in hericium erinaceum and involves in brain function activation and improvement. The method comprises: a step of extracting a dried hericium erinaceum sample by using 100% MeOH or a solvent including ethyl acetate and then, separating the extract by filtering the mixture with a 100-300 mesh filter; a step of mixing 1-10 parts by weight of the dried hericium erinaceum sample in 100 parts by weight of the solvent in the case of mixing the dried hericium erinaceum sample in the solvent; a step of desirably leaving the mixture including the dried hericium erinaceum sample to settle at room temperature for 24-48 hours or conducting hot water extraction of the same at 100-150 deg;Cand then, reducing pressure and concentrating the filtrate after extracting and filtering the extract at room temperature; a step of acquiring 30-200 brix of a concentrate by depressurization and concentration of the extract, mixing 0.1-10 parts by weight of the concentrate in 100 parts by weight of water or methanol to manufacture a sample solution, and analyzing the sample solution. Therefore, the analysis and extraction method can establish an analysis method by setting a hericerin-based compound, known as a brain function improving component of hericium erinaceum, as an index component, can establish cultivation conditions, in which the content of active components is maximized, by analyzing changes in the content of hericene with the analysis method according to various cultivation conditions, and can cultivate and supply hericium erinaceum with excellent brain improvement effects by using the cultivation conditions.
