PURPOSE: A production method of sweet potato leaf tea is provided to steep active ingredients contained in sweet potato leaves with a simple process. CONSTITUTION: Sweet potato leaves or stems are washed and dried in a shaded place. The dried sweet potato leaves or stems are cut into 0.5-1.0 cm. The cut sweet potato leaves or stems are steamed at 100-150°C for 1-10 minutes. The steamed sweet potato leaves or stems are irradiated with infrared rays for 5-10 minutes for drying. A steaming process at 120-150°C for 2-3 minutes is repeated for 2-10 minutes. The moisture content of the dried sweet potato leaves or stems is 5-15%.
