The recyclable packaging film includes a machine-direction oriented, polyethylene-rich exterior film and a polyethylene-based interior film. The quad-seal package, when containing a granular product, resists rupture when dropped according to ASTM D5276-98 test procedure A2.2.1 on the bottom of the package at a drop height of 91.4 cm (36 inches).
