The housing20has a rotatable lock ring22disposed within a threaded cap24for fixedly positioning the musical adapter to the baby bottle12.The cavity within the musical adapter housing has an insert plate36for sealing the housing cavity. The lock ring22has a plurality of leaf-like springs28thereon. As the lock ring22is rotated the leaf-like springs28engage the multiple tangs40of the threaded cap24thereby forcing the leaf-like springs28inwardly so as to engage the bottle12therein, thereby decreasing the available diameter for the baby bottle12therein and crimping the bottle12between a plurality of leaf-like spring elements28.Within the base of the housing20is a compartment30having a removable insert plate36.The compartment30has frictional foam retaining members34for fixedly holding an electronic musical module32that generates a musical sequence. The playing of the tune is accomplished by pressing on the base18of the musical adapter10.
