Fuente: WIPO "rice" A load covering device for covering an open load carrying area of a vehicle is described. The load covering device comprises a sheet of flexible material having a base section configured in use to cover the floor of the load carrying area and to have a load placed thereon. The base section has a rear edge and a forward part that in use is located at the forward end of the load carrying area. The device also comprises a load covering section extending from the forward part of the base section. The load covering section is configured to be moved from an uncovering configuration to allow a load to be loaded onto the base section and a load covering configuration in which the load covering section covers the load. The load covering device also comprises at least one grip member attached to or near the rear edge of the base section, so as to allow a user to pull the grip member to pull the load covering device and the covered load from load carrying area of the vehicle.
