Rotary brushes or pad for finishing boots &c. have strips F of cloth, felt, leather, or other polishing- material attached to the flange C, H by means of pins or the like E fixed to one flange and passing loosely through the other flange, which is fixed to the sleeve B by a nut J. The sleeve is mounted on the spindle A. The strips F are formed with sleeves F' for pushing over the pins &c., so that the strips may be readily applied or removed.
