Folding boxes ; corner joints ; battens, strengthening.-The sides of a collapsible wirebound box are provided with cleats 17, grooved at 18 and mitred at their ends. The ends 6, 7 of the box are provided with cleats 8, 9, each of which has flanges 3, 4, 5 projecting from three of its sides. In addition, cleats 10, 11 with flanges may also be provided. When the box is erected, the various flanges are received in the grooves in the cleats 17.
