[Also in Division H2] The high tension leads of an internal-combustion engine are protected against the ingress of moisture by sheathing each lead in a tube of plastics material 7 the ends of which are forced over the adjacent parts, e.g. 9, of the components, e.g. 8, to which the lead is attached. The lead between the ignition coil and the distributer may also be protected by a similar sheath.
