Printing.-A printing-frame for stereoscopic pictures consists of an outer frame a, Fig. 2, in which the negative is placed, and an inner frame e, in which the sensitive plate m is placed, adjustable by means of screws f relatively to a in order to correct any angular displacement of the picture on the negative. The arrangement of the parts in the frame is shown in the section, Fig. 3. In the frame a is a sliding shutter c used to cover onehalf of the negative when the other half is printing ; next below is a glass plate d, then a mask b, and finally the negative. In the frame e is the sensitive plate m on which the positive transparency is printed, and below that a backing-plate g pressed up by springs h. Pivoted levers i*, i are used to determine the position of the plate m.
