Insoles.-A composite insole, particularly for use in football and other athletic boots, consists of top and bottom layers 1, 2, of leather, and an intermediate layer 3 of three-ply wood. The layers are sewn together, and the insole is then immersed in a waterproofing-solution, after which it is partly dried and then solidified and compacted by pressure.
