Football boots; slipping, preventing.-Football boots have foundation pieces 2, of leather or the like, to receive the studs 1 and to prevent their being pressed into the sole of the boot when it becomes damp. Such foundation pieces may extend wholly across the boot and may be provided for all the studs.
