For diseased hoofs; calks; spring.-The rear ends of the shoe from about the last nail-hole to the heels are bent down to form spring ends which only bear on the hoof when pressure is applied. Above the ordinary heel calks 5 are inwardlyinclined wedge-shaped projections 3, which act to open out the hoof and cure various diseases. The clips 4 are intended to cure hoof cracks.
