21,592. Rice, A. E. Sept. 23. Button-holes or studholes in collars, shirts, and other wearing-apparel have enlargements a, preferably circular, at each end. Enlargements may be made in the central part of a button-hole having one or both of the end enlargements, and may be circular, diamondshaped, triangular, &c. A line c of reinforcement stitching, conforming to the shape of the enlargement a, is used around the part that takes the stud or button pull.
