Collars, linen and like.-Soft collars have two holes c made in the lower part of the ends of the band, which may be made deeper for the purpose. Studs are placed through these holes from behind, each stud passing also through a hole d in the outer flap to hold it down. The holes are additional to the ordinary fastening-holes, and the studs may be either separate or mounted on a common foundation.
