The rigid sheath fits into a downwardly open pocket of a flexible article-carrying bag. A rigid panel for supporting the bag is hinged to the sheath adjacent the bottom opening, and can be rotated downward from a condition in which it is parallel to a front wall of the sheath to a horizontal condition, and is prevented by a stop from being rotated beyond the horizontal condition. The downwardly open pocket can be on the exterior of the bag or on the interior.
