Fecha de publicación: 27/02/2000 Fuente: WIPO "varroa" The present invention is directed to a bee fumigant dispenser arrangement comprising a container having a sidewall structure defining an open interior, said sidewall structure including an air flow aperture arrangement therethrough having an aperture area, a selectively removable covering arrangement having first and second orientations, said covering arrangement, when in said first orientation, being positioned to substantially cover said aperture area, and said covering arrangement, when in said second orientation, being positioned to selectively expose at least a portion of said aperture area; and bee fumigant positioned in said open interior of said container. In addition, a method of fumigating a bee hive is disclosed herein comprising the steps of providing a container having a sidewall structure defining an open interior, an air flow aperture arrangement having an aperture area through said sidewall structure, and a selectively removable covering arrangement having first and second orientations, providing a bee fumigant in said open interior, positioning said selectively removable covering in said first orientation, inserting said dispenser arrangement into said bee hive for an effective time period, and after said effective time period, exposing an increased portion of said aperture area by positioning said selectively removable covering arrangement in said second orientation.
