A plate-like cleaning member (2) is placed on both sides of the honeycomb frame (3) located inside the device so that the piercer spikes (6) pierce the wax caps of the honeycomb frame (3) after first piercing this plate-like cleaning member (2) on both sides of the honeycomb frame (3). In this cleaning member (2) the holes for piercing it by the piercer spikes are oval slots (11) so that each vertically inline located line of piercer spikes (6) moves through one oval slot-shaped aperture when the device is processing honeycomb frames (3). When the piercer spikes (6) are moving away from the honeycomb frame (3), the edges of the oval slot-shaped apertures wipe the piercer spikes (6) clean.
