The herbal aqueous formulation of present invention comprises of Mentha Piperita (1-3g), Salvia rosmarinus (2-4g), Nepeta cataria (2-4g), Cymbopogon flexuosus (2-4g), Datura (1-10g), Thymus vulgaris (1-4g), Cinnamomum camphora (1g), Ethyl acetate (45-50 ml). The preparation process comprises the steps of procurement of different parts of different plant and drying the same at a temperature of 35-40o C for 15- 20 days. Further, the dried parts of plants are grounded separately to get a fine powder and the grounded powder is mixed with 45-50 ml of ethyl acetate thoroughly to get herbal liquid formulation for protecting bee hives from wax moth.
