Synergistic composition of present inventiom comprises combination of essential plant oils i.e., Cymbopogon citrate 1-10ml, Citrus aurantium 1-5 ml, Mentha piperita 1-5 ml, Trachyspermum ammi 1-10ml, Zingiber officinale 1-5 ml dissolved in solvent i.e., Acetyl tributyl citrate 1-10ml. The essential oils of different plants are dissolved in various proportionalities in solvent acetyl tributyl citrate at 20-30oC and same inhibits the growth of adult wax moth
