Fecha de publicación: 25/04/2008 Fuente: WIPO "pollen" This invention relates to a method for producing transgenic pollen for use as a transformation vector comprising, (1) obtaining pollen from a plant, (2) applying the pollen to a solid medium having a lawn of Agrobacteria, the Agrobacteria comprising at least one heterologous gene sequence capable of being transferred to a plant cell, and (3) allowing the pollen to germinate and grow on the medium, whereby the Agrobacterium mediates transfer of the heterologous gene sequence to the germinating pollen to obtain transgenic pollen.
