[Addition to 10,704/08.] Driving-mechanism for type-bar making machines. Relates to improvements in the clutches described in Specification 14,582/90, and in the parent Specification. The shaft 3 is provided with an arm 6 carrying a bell - crank lever 11, on which is pivoted a clutch block 9 tensioned by a spring 13. The clutch-block is held against the pulley 1 by a lever 14, which is tensioned by a spring 16 and is provided with an adjusting-screw 17 engaging a disk 12 on the lever 11. The lever 14 is connected to the clutch-controlling bar 4. There may be several arms 6 and levers 11, in which case all the levers 11 are connected loosely to the disk 12.
