Course-recording apparatus. - Course - recording apparatus described as for use with the gyroscopic apparatus of Specification 23,846/06 comprises a longitudinally ruled ribbon 93 continuously traversed by means independent of the relay controlled by changes of gyroscopic plane, which relay traverses a recorder transversely of the ribbon 93. This recorder comprises an endless band 108 carrying pencils 105; a cam 111 lifts any pencil approaching the ribbon 93 clear of the edge, and the pencil is subsequently lowered into touch with the ribbon ; a similar cam is provided at the other edge.
