Cylinder machines with plane printing-surfaces.-A flat-bed travelling-cylinder web perfecting-press comprises two perfecting-sets A, B, which may be'run either together or independently, and are mounted at right-angles on an L-shaped frame. The web rolls W, W are preferably mounted at the angle of the frame, and the web from the roll W perfected by the set A is slit into two parts w, w, which may then be associated with one or more parts w, w' of the web from the roll W printed by the set B ; the parts w, w' have been turned over the bar 6 at the angle between the sets. The whole of the webs then proceed to the folding &c. devices F.3>2>3>2>1>1>2>
