It is intended to provide a royal jelly having an excellent physiological activity and a method of harvesting honey and storing the same. For bee transfer, use is made of larvae aged 2 days. Honey is harvested within 48 hours after the bee transfer. Immediately thereafter, the honey is quickly refined using a centrifugal filtration device. Immediately after harvesting the honey, royal jelly is refrigerated and stored at a low temperature of about 2 㱸C for 4 weeks. Bees for harvesting honey are fed under such conditions as allowing to give a uniform and excellent honey source without loading any stress on the bees due to other insects, bacterial infection, chemicals, etc. Instruments employed in each production step should be made of nonmetallic materials or have coated surface in case of being of metallic materials.
