FIRE EXTINGUISHING SYSTEM AND METHOD

The invention relates to detection and prevention of emergencies and recovery from their consequences, namely, to fire extinguishing. The proposed fire extinguishing system comprises a fire extinguishing control module, a recon aerial vehicle (AV), at least one carrier AV, and unmanned combat aerial vehicles (UCAVs). The fire extinguishing control module is configured to maintain continuous two-way datalink with the recon AV and the carrier AVs, form and correct a fire extinguishing algorithm depending on data continuously received from the recon AV and carrier AVs, communicate the fire extinguishing algorithm and a deployment configuration of the carrier AVs and a swarm of UCAVs to the carrier AVs during extinguishing of a fire. The recon AV is configured to maintain continuous two-way datalink with the fire extinguishing control module, detect a fire source, determine a type of the fire source, its coordinates and parameters, a direction and speed of fire movement, a wind force and direction, and communicate these data to the fire extinguishing control module. The carrier AV is configured to maintain continuous two-way datalink with the fire extinguishing control module and with UCAVs, transport UCAVs to the fire source and launch them, form a UCAV swarm of a certain spatial configuration depending on the fire type. The UCAVs are intended for arriving in a calculated point of the fire source and releasing a charge of a fire extinguishing substance, then performing complete self-destruction; they comprise an aerodynamic body provided with an electric motor, a control system and a charge of solid carbon dioxide. Also, a fire extinguishing method with the use of the above system is proposed. The technical effect consists in providing high hitting accuracy of charges, improving effectiveness of fire extinguishing and ensuring mobility of the system.
