The system (100) includes a database (106) that stores pre-defined attributes related to nodes, nodes properties, and pre-determined healing profiles. A swarm creation module (100) creates a swarm of nodes in the network based on the node properties. A computation module (112) computes a fitness value of each of the nodes based on the pre-defined attributes of each of the nodes. A detection module (114) detects an anomaly of at least one node based on the fitness value using a swarm based logic technique, and identifies a faulty node. An identification module (118) identifies a control mechanism based on a healing profile, and transmits the identified control mechanism to the identified faulty node. A correction module (120) corrects the faulty node by applying the control mechanism to the faulty node.
